Early in the morning, we headed east to Pittsburgh. We cut thru undulating valleys before civilisation unfolded before our very eyes upon emerging from a tunnel.

I applied for Masters in Financial Maths in the University of Pittsburgh back in 2006. I was rejected. On the other hand, hubby rejected the offer. The one who was rejected and the one who rejected met each other in the University of Dayton.

Papa Peh and Mama Peh didn't have opportunity to further study in a university. So, I always bring them to visit universities.

We drove all the way up to Mt Washington to have a bird's eye view of Pittsburgh. I like this college city very much. It's a lively city with hills and rivers.

Look at this house. Doesn't it look like a face? In which I'm sitting at the protruding tongue.

At Penang Hill, we call it a cable car. Here, it's called an "incline".

Sama-sama as the cable car at Penang Hill.
We "played" until sunset. Then, we retired at a motel which is about an hour's drive away from Pittsburgh. This was to shorten our journey to Washington the next day.
