20100621 凤凰城 --> 长沙

Read the English name: Feng Huang Ying bin Hotel. Get the joke? The father's name is Hotel and the child's name is Feng Huang Ying. Hah...hah...

Pig head for sale.

RMB 10 (about USD 1.50 ) for a nite's stay in FengHuangCheng. Dare for it?
Hm... this reminds me of my THB 100 (USD 3) stay in Ayutthaya, Thailand.

Dirty riddle: What is in front of a woman but at the back of a cow?Answer: "W"

Inadvertently, my posture created 2 "W"s. One being my hands and the tree trunks. Another "W' is formed by my legs and the tree trunks. Eh... can't find the third "W" as told in the riddle lah... Muahaha... paiseh-nia...

We left FengHuangCheng for Changsha before lunch. The journey is approximately 433km. Luckily, there's a connecting highway. Nevertheless, the journey still took us about 6 hours.

On the way out of FengHuangCheng, we passed by a weekly morning market.

Fed our tummy full full on the way back to Changsha.

It looks like a normal Marrie biscuit but it's not. I've never tasted such a delicious kuih, ever.
Still remember that we paid RMB 180 for 2 extra destinations? We had visited the minority tribe's village the day before. Now, this is another destination: 爱晚亭. To our dismay, one doesn't need to pay an entrance fee. The shelter by the lake is situated in a university, akin to the pondok by the lake of Malaya University. We felt like we're cheated. Or, indeed, we're cheated. The only fee we had to pay is the parking fee. Our Msian tour leader squinted her eyes to read the parking charges, it read: RMB 18 per bus.

Dinner at Changsha. The steam egg + tofu was so delicious that we ordered more. Of course, we had to pay for the extra orders.
After dinner, we went shopping in Changsha. Well, nothing special here, just like any shopping areas in KL or Penang or NY or San Franz. Globalization.

On the last nite of our 7D6N tour, we stayed in a posh 5-star hotel. Though it's very grand, upon opening the door of my room and inserting the key card into the holder, I heard a loud thud. Then, the room was cut out of electricity. I was very tired, still, had to wait for the handyman to fix the short circuit. Sigh... guess like 5-star hotel doesn't like me. And I prefer a 4-star and even a 3-star hotel.
