Busse Wood Forest Preserve Again

Last week, I nearly got a saman from the police for parking beyond the closing time of the hutan lipur. Then only I learnt that the forest preserve closes at 6:17 pm. Yes, you read it right and I typed it right, it's a weird closing time not at 6pm, not at 6:30pm but at 6:17pm.

The forest preserve is very huge and it's impossible to circumvent the trail (marked in red in the map below) on foot within a reasonable afternoon-leisure-walk timeframe. Last week, we took a 3-hour walk to cover 1/4 of the trail.

Last week, a lady was lost in the forest preserve, cycling round and round looking for her car as darkness descended. She forgot where she had parked her car. There are many car parks in the many regions of the forest preserve.

It's autumn again.

Weather is turning cold and I'm counting days to go back to my beloved warm country.
