11 May 2009 - Niagara Falls

After susah-payah save the USD 7 parking at the Statue of Liberty ferry terminal, I decided not to save USD 5 parking at the Niagara Falls. If want a cheaper parking fee, there're many street side parking available, but, they're only 2-hour parking, in which you have to feed coins every 2 hours.

Blue sky white clouds today

These are just the prelude, small falls only.

Macam big ombak at the back.

Bigger falls are coming

Here's the American Falls.

Ti-Kong has granted us a sunny day. Can see rainbow across the American Falls.

Canadian side.

Can't help but gaze at the rainbow!

Lunch at the Niagara Park.

Panoramic view of the Horseshoe Falls.

We were too cheap to pay USD 13.50 per person for the cruise. Anyhow, we still could see the Falls, what for pay the money to get wet? Noticed that those who boarded the cruise got wet up to knee level. Oohh... sejuk... don't want. At the Horseshoe Falls, we got wet too!

Hubby gave me the ring and I proposed to him

The visit to Niagara Falls took for about 4 hours. On the way back, we visited SPCA. Just like when we were in Bath, England. Everywhere Mama Peh went to, sure bumped into SPCA.

Nice bench.

This SPCA has a small farm too.

Cat's apartment

Scooby Doo

The SPCA at Niagara got bunnies too.

Before dinner, we went to do laundry. While waiting, we strolled around the neighbourhood. A very nice neighbourhood. Papa Peh and Mama Peh had never seen a laundry shop before. It's a place where you feed in coins to operate the washing machine and dryer. It was an eye opener for them. Well, Mama Peh would say, if no washing machine at home, hand wash lah...
