12 May 2009 - Thousand Island

The journey from Buffalo to Alexandria Bay took about 4 hours. Again, we were granted a very sunny day. We were spellbounded by the beauty of the motel we were staying, Channelsyde Motel. We were the early birds and the only customers.

We tried to cho-tai-di outdoor, but the wind was too strong.

Papa Peh was practising Tai-Chi while Mama Peh was practising Qi-Gong

Nice room. We stayed in a family suit, consisting of 2 rooms, one with 2 single beds and one with a double bed, with a connecting bathroom in between.

Thousand Island, are you familiar with the Thousand Island salad dressing? Yes, it originated here. So, must try the Thousand Island sauce. Lunch costs USD 41.

Oh... yes, we booked a family suit for 2 nites and got a friendly cat for accompaniment. Hah...hah... Her name is "George". Yes, it's a she cat. HER name is "George". Just called up the name and she'd be there by your side.
