This morning, woke up to have a sign of kena bitten by bed bugs. The bed bugs were having buffet on my right lower arm, near the elbow. Anyhow, sueh or not sueh, life still goes on. Today, we're heading towards Boston from NJ. The journey took 4 hours.

If you think Penang bridge toll of MYR 7 is expensive, how about this George Washington bridge toll of USD 8?
We thought Boston is another big hectic city like NY. So, we pandai-pandai parked at Alewife subway station for USD 7 and took rides to Harvard and Boston, which costs USD 21.60 for 4 people. When we reached Harvard, we noticed that there were many parking spots available. Aiyoh...

This is fun.
No. Harvard St = North Harvard Street.
Harvard Sq looks like Harvard Sg. Indeed, there's a Harvard Sungai there.
It's Harvard Sq = Harvard Square.

This OM restaurant at Harvard Square refused to serve us lunch. We ordered and waited for 40 minutes. New comers kept getting their food and we kept waiting. When we cabut, the waiter said, "it's fine." Very angry at the waiter's attitude, macam we have no money to eat. Then, we purposely went to a restaurant opposite the street for lunch.

After lunch, stroll around Harvard University.

John Harvard

This is entertaining. The performer hits the wok-like instrument and it gives melodic songs.

Man-made spring at Harvard

Used to be a Cambridge Savings Bank

Harvard is for clever people. Hm... open and close door also have to calculate how much heat is lost. Probably, the waiter at OM Restaurant calculated that it was not worth his time to serve us lunch.

Playing with the water pump

Ta...da... it looks like Cambridge in England, doesn't it?
Coincidentally, there's a couple taking their wedding photos there.

No...no... no... it's not the S'porean bank.
OCBC = Old Cambridge Baptist Church.

Boston downtown is dull compared to NYC. Having spent the nite before in Manhattan, we found Boston a semi-dead city. We dined at a Penang Restaurant in Boston Chinatown. It's a brimming restaurant in the sleepy Chinatown. We had to take a queue number and queued up for about 30 minutes. The person in-charged told us that the owner was from Penang and poked fun of us, asking that why we only visited this restaurant after 15 years since it first opened for business. Hah...hah... I ordered chendol in Hokkien and the waiter replied in Hokkien too.
Food is tasty, not that tasty as the one in New York Jaya Restaurant. Cost = USD 42 for a nasi lemak, a Penang assam laksa, a beef rendang, a fried nasi lemak special (not that special afterall) and a chendol. The weather forecast said that it'd rain, but it didn't. While having dinner, it rained cats and dogs. So, I introduced hubby to Penang chendol as dessert. After dessert, the rain totally ceased. Thank you Ti-Kong.
The chendol was good, thank you hunny for telling me about it.
