University of Dayton

Walking down the padestrian pavement, leading all the way to school.

Irving Avenue.

Here it is, UD.

Students' Carpark.

Sport field. A busy place at nite where students have sport until midnite.

On Campus housing = M'sian's "hostel".

UD's Kennedy Union = UM's Perdanasiswa.
There's a bowling centre inside! USD 3 per game.

Science Centre, contains Maths, Bio, Chemistry, Physics Departments.
Notice the big cross? Yeah... there's 1 cross in every classroom.

St. Mary.

One of the office buildings.

The Chapel.

St. Joseph Hall, just another office building.

Kennedy Union Pub

Computers are always available in the library as every student has his/her own laptop.
All are flat screens as CRT monitors are dinosaurs.

Facilities in the school is fabulous. There's a Recreational Complex, called the RecPlex where it houses a swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, gym, running track ... except a badminton court. Of course, everything is indoor. The annual fee is USD 300 for me, but only USD 150 for graduate assistance. So, I didn't sign up the membership. The RecPlex got a big big trasparent glass, where I can see the indoor swimming pool and people working out in the gym from the outside, just like Fitness First in KL. Towels are provided. The swimming pool looks very alluring.

Oakwood Neighbourhood

There are many beautiful houses nearby my apartment. I enjoy an evening walk around the neighbourhood.

I find this house "familiar". Remember the house we used to draw when we were small kids? We first draw a rectangle, then another rectangle in the middle (door), then another 2 squares (windows) on each side of the door?

See this sign? Don't worry about getting bitten by a dog even though the dog is left untied. There is an invisible fencing that prohibits the dog from venturing beyond the house's compound. Just make sure you don't step into people's yard and you're safe from the dog.

American football.

Americans love sports. Can always see people exercise.
