Karaoke Nite at Art Street

Karaoke Night during the Chinese Festival. Too bad, they don't have chinese songs at all. Originally, I picked the song "Eternal Flames" but the machine refused to play it. So, I sang "Yesterday Once More" by the Carpenters.

"When I was young, I listen to the radio, waiting for my favourite song... When they played I sing along, it made me smile... Those were such happy times and not so long ago, how I wondered where they'd gone... But they're back again, just like a long lost friend, all the songs I loved so well"

"Every sha-la-la-la, every whoa-oh-oh, still shines... Every shing-a-ling-a-ling that they're startin' to sing, so fine..."

Actually, I tried to suppress myself from crying while singing. The lyrics become more and more touching as I become older and older.

"Looking back on how it was in years gone by, and the good time that I had...makes today seems rather sad, so much has changed..."

"It was songs of love that I would sing to then, and I'd memorize each word... Those old melodies, still sound so good to me, as they melt the years away"

"All my best memories, come back clearly to me, some can even make me cry, just like before... it's yesterday once more..."

Getting a round applause and a secret admirer snapped this photo.
