Growing mushroom staying indoor

Very sien staying indoor. Very mang-chang staying indoor. Very pek-chek staying indoor. On this sunny day, I had wanted to go out in the morning. But the temperature was -13 celsius. I waited, until afternoon, until it was "warmed up". At -6 celsius, I started my first step out.

The icicles snapped from inside my apartment.
You can see how energetic I was to go outdoor, like a hyperactive child terkurung inside.

寸步难行
Mana jalan? Jalan mana?

Pity the bent branches, due to weight of icicles.

The correct word is "icicle". But I call it a stalagtite.

More stalagtites! I even noticed that the gutter was broken due to the weight of those icicles.

Now, the is the main agenda. Visiting the lake. The following photos are taken at the lake. Where's the lake? Neh.... the white white one loh.

The bench is overlooking the lake.

Now, this is the difficult part. Can't differentiate which one is the lake.

I know the middle part is the lake. Where's the boundary?

I walked nearer.

Heard crack...crack... sound as I put my weight down on each step.
I stopped and dare not walked to the front anymore.
Only the surface of the lake is frozen.
It is not hard enough to withstand my weight if I step on it.
I don't want to swim in the lake at this time of the year.
Footprints

Some part of the lake is not frozen.

Nice shadows on the frozen lake.

Tree shadow on frozen lake.

I went photo shooting around the neighbourhood. Blue sky, white ground, green leaves.

A residential house that imitates a castle.

I used to make sand castle at the beach of Batu Feringghi when I was a small girl.
They don't have sandy beaches, so, they build snow castle.

Snow has melted partially.

Hey...hey... I bumped into my dream house.
I like a house with a veranda or a balcony.
When I first visited Mini Malaysia at Melaka in 1997, I like the Malay house very much.

Front view of dream house
It's like a Malay house, where the tangga leads to the veranda.

Side view of dream house
Imagining I have my hammock tied there.

Rear view of dream house
There's a car porch at the back. Hm... wonder if there's a Mini Cooper inside.

My dream house with a tall pine tree.
The tree reminds me of the story of "Jack and the Beanstalk".

Ugly side of snow.

Wanna drive? Scrap scrap scarp first. Lecehnya...

In KL, we have banjir kilat.
Here, it's banjir salji.

What to do besides photo shooting?
Eat ICE-CREAM!

Living in the freezer

我的冬天是黑白的

掀起你的盖头来,让我来看看你的脸

Stalactite on my roof

More stalactite

Closed-up stalactite

I asked my American classmate: "Why do you call it a 'bull shit'?"
He answered, "The 'bull' is to emphasize that the shit is huge."
So, should I call this a pile of "bull snow"?
